Samuel Arjona began his career in organizational consulting at a subsidiary of Deloitte Thomastu. He then spent five years at the Transaction Services division of Ernst & Young, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, and restructuring, particularly on behalf of private equity fund investments.
In 2010, he joined the French Financial Management of AMCOR, following the acquisition of fifteen companies in France. There, he acquired solid expertise in harmonizing processes, reporting, restructuring, and synergies. Since 2014, Samuel has been carrying out transition assignments for startups and scale-ups, with a focus on cash management issues, financial reporting, team structuring/reorganization, and process in post-acquisition contexts, cash stress, build-up, integrations, and exits, including carve-outs.
In 2018, he became the CFO of a digital health startup in a hypergrowth environment, where he created and managed the finance, HR, and procurement functions. He conducted three fundraising rounds before resuming his activities as a transition manager.
In September 2024, Samuel joined X-PM to strengthen the finance offering, bringing his expertise in startup and scale-up environments, as well as his knowledge of relationships with investment funds.
Samuel Arjona holds a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from HEC label and Grenoble Ecole de Management.
