François Truffier has over 30 years’ experience in industry, including 15 as General Manager.
He started at Safran in 1990, first in France and then in the USA. In 2000, he joined John Deere, as head of major industrial transformation projects and director of operations, again in both the USA and Europe.
In 2008, he joined the Terex industrial group’s crane and lifting equipment division to manage, from Germany, the division’s European and then worldwide activities. In 2015, François took over as head of the spare parts business for the entire group in Switzerland.
In 2018, he became President of Synerlink, which designs and markets packaging lines for the food industry, before joining X-PM in September 2023.
François TRUFFIER is also involved on a voluntary basis in employers’ associations in France, and its equivalent Gesamt Metall in Germany. A former president of a regional chamber of the UIMM, he is currently president of the AFORP group, which brings together the metallurgy apprentice training centers in the Ile-de-France region.
He holds an engineering degree from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in the USA.
