Chief data officer

The chief data officer is in charge of identifying, collecting and leveraging data generated by your technical systems. These systems are involved in the smooth running and production system (robots in factories, purchasing or supervision systems…) or can be integrated in the products supplied to customers (meters, IoT, routers…).

Depending on the company, the XPM Transition CDO may report to the CEO or to IT. Their field of action is global, as data is used by all departments in the company. The CDO is in charge of managing data-related subjects: governance, data quality and security, recruitment of data teams, identification of use cases, sourcing and selection of tools, data training for employees, etc.
